Suzette Hattingh & Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City have produced this training resource. It is their heart as you study this series that your life becomes bathed in prayer as you live under the shadow of the Almighty. Prayer is not just a prayer meeting but a relationship and partnership with the Holy Spirit that brings life and vitality. PRAYER TRAINING INSTITUTE

This resource has been compiled by Women in Tune to de-mystify prayer and make it practicable to the believer. We aim to achieve this through simple, clear and biblical teachings, designed to help the believer engage in effective prayer.

Module One consists of six weekly sessions from: 9th May 2011. The curriculum consists of the following topics,

Defining Prayer
Listening to God (Hearing God speak)
Types and Levels of Prayer
Prayer and the Holy Spirit
Effectual and Fervent Prayer
The Basics of Spiritual Warfare

There will be ample opportunity for trainees to actually practice what they learn. We are encouraging all men, women and youth, who feel the need to pray, want to learn how to pray, feel confused about unanswered prayer and/or want a more effective prayer life to enrol.

We also hope to make the PRAYER TRAINING INSTITUTE available to churches to run in-house.
