Teenagers meet Jesus in 24-7 prayer room
9 Feb 2010
24-7 Prayer Ireland reports that they recently had a prayer room in Bandon Grammar School. "There is such a hunger and desire for more of God. All this has been rooted in prayer, not only by the youth, but also within the Christian community in Bandon. On the 7-15th of December we opened a prayer room in our school. Our purpose for this prayer room was to show God's love to all students. In an old shower room we created six 'prayer stations' focused on different creative ways of praying to God. We are still blown away to see how God is working in our school."
The organizers report that the school staff and students were very receptive and many visited the prayer room and experienced God there. By the end of the week 12 students accepted Jesus into their lives. According to 24-7prayer these kind of prayer spaces are popping up in dozens of schools across the UK.
