The Isle of Man took its place on the global prayer platform on Sunday 23rd May 2010 in Britain's youngest Cathedral in Peel.

Christians from all denominations and around the island , met to take part in a Global Day of prayer service led by Ian Skidmore. There was an opportunity for testimony to hear what God is saying to His people now and also a time of corporate prayer The world prayer (which was repeated in more 216 countries over 24 hour period) was led by Manx PrayerNet Co-ordinator David Talbot.

The Cathedral kindly offered participants refreshments in the North transept cafĂ©, whilst ministries teams offered pray for healing in the south transept. Many people were blessed and encouraged by the unity and strength of the Churches voice on the Island.  Manx PrayerNet as a member of the British and Irish Prayer Association www.prayerforum.org  joined with the other nations of the British Isles who were organising their own gatherings.
