Redeeming Our Communities: Greater Manchester Showcase

Join with thousands of others from across the UK to hear of the great things happening in local communities and to be inspired about exciting new project ideas.
What is on the programme?
We are delighted to have performances from; Twelve 24 and the Manchester Sing Our Choir, Noel Robinson, cast members from The Bill,
guests include Chief Constable Peter Fahy (GMP), County Fire Officer Steve McGuirk (Head of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service).
We have also invited Police and Fire officials, politicians and local authority leaders from across the UK.
WHO SHOULD COME? Suitable for -ALL AGES (over 8 years recommended), FAITH BACKGROUND OR NONE, ANYONE WHO WANTS TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY LIFE OR TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET INVOLVED!
The event is free, we have organised plenty free car parking at the Velodrome and in Sports City. There will be an indoor Exhibition and special attractions outside including Mounties, Fire Engine, Zacs Bar, Football Cage and Mobile Police unit.
The evening will feature stories from people who are finding effective ways to make communities kinder and safer places. We will hear about exciting new projects like - the ROC Cafe in Reddish, the ROC Boxing gym, the SHINE YOUR LIGHT campaign and more.
